Community Topics: "Freight Challenges of a Redesigned Skyway"

On November 19, join the Buffalo Niagara International Trade Gateway Organization for a panel discussion and interactive conversation highlighting the critical freight needs of the Skyway corridor, and the importance of keeping regional logistics at the forefront of the public dialogue.   


While there is tremendous buzz about the newly-released designs for the Skyway along Route 5 in downtown Buffalo, the majority of the public focus has been on the design itself, and commuter traffic. But hundreds of commercial trucks use the Skyway every day, and that number only promises to grow with economic development efforts along Route 5 south of downtown.
